• A review by Sarah Porch-Lee of a recent book by Jack Hunter entitled Spirits, Gods and Magic: An Introduction to the Anthropology of the Supernatural (2nd edition) has appeared on the Society for Psychical Research website.
• A Mentorship Programme for Professional and Student Members of the Parapsychological Association has been announced.
• A paper by A. Delorme, C. Cannard, D. Radin and H. Wahbeh entitled "Accuracy and neural correlates of blinded mediumship compared to controls on an image classification task" has been published - Brain and Cognition, 146, 105638 (2020). Participants were shown photographs of deceased persons and asked to guess the cause of death. The conclusion was that controls performed better than mediums.
• In a blog post (in Italian), Massimo Biondi has criticised a paper by B. Butzer entitled "Bias in the evaluation of psychology studies: A comparison of parapsychology versus neuroscience" - Explore, 16(6), 382-391 (2020)

• The prominent and controversial sceptic, James Randi, has died at the age of 92. At "The Skeptic", Chris French has posted an article entitled What James Randi meant to me. A somewhat different perspective comes from Nemo C. Mörck's 2015 review of the film "An Honest Liar" about Randi's life.
• At "New Thinking Allowed", Jeffrey Mishlove has interviewed Dani Caputi about New Random Event Strategies in Parapsychology, an approach to psychokinesis experiments that is claimed to offer larger effect sizes than traditional ones.

• An article by James G. Matlock on American Children Who Recall Previous Lives has been added to the SPR's Psi Encyclopedia.
• A review by John Rimmer of a recent book by Matt Wingett entitled Conan Doyle and the Mysterious World of Light has appeared at Magonia Review. This is described as "largely an account, in his own words, of Doyle's developing views on religion, science and ethics", going up to about 1920 and therefore not covering the last decade of Doyle's life.
• A book edited by Ehler Voss, entitled Mediality on Trial: Testing and Contesting Trance and Other Media Techniques, has been published.

• Jeffrey Mishlove has conducted three interviews with the cosmologist Bernard Carr, entitled "Consciousness and Cosmology", "Psychical Research and Parapsychology" and "Hyperspace, Consciousness, and Time", in his New Thinking Allowed video series.
• An article by Chantel Tattoli entitled "Mark Twain's Mind Waves", discussing the author's interest in telepathy, has appeared in The Paris Review.
• Andreas Sommer has made available online "James and Psychical Research in Context", a chapter that he contributed to the new "Oxford Handbook of William James".
